SAFARI ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your Buluma Adventures guide. A short transfer will bring you to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can relax and recover from your journey. If time allows, explore the lively town and enjoy the local culture. Your guide will brief you on the exciting safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, embark on your journey to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its stunning landscapes, dotted with ancient baobab trees and home to large herds of elephants, Tarangire offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Enjoy a full day of game drives, where you may encounter lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. A picnic lunch in the park will keep you energized for more exploration.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

This morning, leave Tarangire behind as you head towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive is scenic, with the opportunity to see Maasai villages and the diverse landscapes of the northern circuit. Upon entering the Serengeti, embark on an afternoon game drive as you make your way to your camp. The Serengeti, known for its vast plains and incredible wildlife, promises thrilling encounters with the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and a myriad of other species.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring Serengeti. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, or choose to take a hot air balloon safari for a unique aerial view of the endless plains (optional, at additional cost). Witness the natural drama of predator and prey, observe large herds of wildebeest and zebras, and soak in the unparalleled beauty of this iconic park. Between game drives, relax at your camp and absorb the tranquil surroundings.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, bid farewell to Serengeti and journey to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most extraordinary wildlife destinations on earth. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, where you can spot the Big Five in a compact area, alongside flamingos on the soda lakes and countless other species. After a picnic lunch in this natural wonder, ascend and continue your drive back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
