SAFARI ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Buluma Adventures guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. After settling in, take the time to relax and recover from your journey, or explore the vibrant town of Arusha. Your guide will provide a briefing on the exciting safari ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, set out for Tarangire National Park, known for its stunning landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and large herds of elephants. Enjoy a full day of game drives, spotting diverse wildlife including lions, leopards, and various bird species. A picnic lunch within the park will give you the energy to continue your exploration in the afternoon.

Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Tarangire.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Spend the day exploring the vast Serengeti National Park. With morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll have ample opportunity to witness the incredible wildlife, including the Big Five, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Consider an optional hot air balloon safari for a breathtaking view of the plains at sunrise (available at additional cost).

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring Serengeti. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, or choose to take a hot air balloon safari for a unique aerial view of the endless plains (optional, at additional cost). Witness the natural drama of predator and prey, observe large herds of wildebeest and zebras, and soak in the unparalleled beauty of this iconic park. Between game drives, relax at your camp and absorb the tranquil surroundings.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Enjoy another day in Serengeti, immersing yourself in the incredible biodiversity of the park. Serengeti’s ecosystem is unparalleled, offering chances to witness predator-prey interactions and the rhythm of life on the savannah. Between game drives, relax at your camp and soak in the serene surroundings.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, depart from the Serengeti and head towards Ngorongoro Crater. Descend into this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a half-day game drive, where you can spot the Big Five in a compact area, as well as other species like hippos, flamingos, and gazelles. After a picnic lunch in this extraordinary setting, ascend and journey back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
