SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your guide from Buluma Adventures. A short drive will take you to your accommodation in Arusha, a vibrant town known as the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. After check-in, you can unwind and enjoy the lush gardens of your lodge or explore the local markets and cultural centers at your leisure. Your guide will brief you on the exciting days ahead in the evening.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After a hearty breakfast, embark on your first game drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you journey through this iconic landscape, keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, and a variety of antelope species. Tarangire River, a lifeline for wildlife during the dry season, will offer you unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing. A picnic lunch will be served amidst the park’s beauty before you continue exploring in the afternoon.
Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Tarangire.
Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
Depart early from Tarangire and drive towards the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater offers a unique ecosystem teeming with wildlife. Descend into the crater for a full day of game viewing, where you can spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along with a vast array of other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by breathtaking views. Later in the day, ascend to the crater rim for a scenic drive to your lodge.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Arusha
On your final day, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, diverse birdlife, and beautiful soda lake. Enjoy a morning game drive, soaking in varied landscapes, from dense forests to open savannahs. After a picnic lunch, make your way back to Arusha, where you will either be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
