Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your Buluma Adventures guide and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. After check-in, unwind from your journey and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of your lodge, or explore the bustling town of Arusha. Your guide will brief you on the adventure that lies ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives, with opportunities to see large elephant herds, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served within the park, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Leave Tarangire behind as you journey to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a day of game drives through lush forests, open plains, and the beautiful soda lake. Take in the spectacular views and the rich biodiversity of this compact park.

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, continue your adventure with a drive to the legendary Serengeti National Park. Along the way, pass through rural villages and enjoy the changing landscapes. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, embark on an afternoon game drive as you head to your camp. The Serengeti’s vast plains and abundant wildlife provide an unforgettable safari experience.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring Serengeti. With morning and afternoon game drives, you’ll have the chance to witness the diverse wildlife, including the Big Five, cheetahs, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Consider an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn for a unique perspective of Serengeti’s endless plains (available at additional cost).

Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Enjoy another day in Serengeti, with further opportunities to explore different areas of the park and spot a wide range of wildlife. Experience the daily rhythms of the savannah and the thrill of close encounters with Africa’s most iconic animals. Between game drives, relax at your camp and take in the serene surroundings.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and head towards Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most extraordinary wildlife destinations on earth. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive, where you can spot the Big Five, alongside hippos, flamingos, and other species in a compact, natural arena. After a picnic lunch in this remarkable setting, ascend and make your way back to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
